Supporting the sustainable development of Galabovo

AES Bulgaria and Galabovo Municipality signed a Cooperation Agreement in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. According to the Contract, AES will support a series of beneficial initiatives to the society, which will improve the standard of living for all the citizens in the Municipality. The new Agreement is a natural continuation of the long-term engagement AES has toward Galabovo Municipality and the good relations between the two sides. Under the program the Galabovo Municipality and AES will continue supporting the sustainable development of the community, enhancing the local infrastructure, providing support to the schools in the region and other important community institutions.

“I am extremely happy to sign this Cooperation Agreement between AES and Galabovo Municipality. This contract builds on the excellent relationship between the Municipality and AES and is an example of the positive results in our project implementation”, stated the President of AES Bulgaria Olivier Marquette during the ceremony. “Over the years this Agreement has evolved into a stable and beneficial partnership, because it is dedicated to the most important cause – improving people’s lives”, he added.

AES will continue to support the traditional annual initiatives the Municipality hosts, which have established themselves as a key part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility program. The programs which will be financed under the agreement will be coordinated with the municipality to address the current and future needs of its 14 000 inhabitants.
