AES’ TPP in Galabovo hits nine-month production record

AES’ TPP in Galabovo has set a new production record for the first nine months of 2025. The country’s most advanced coal-fired power plant supplied 1,803,015 MWh of reliable electricity to Bulgarian consumers, marking its largest power output for this period over the last three years.

In the month of September alone, AES’ TPP in Galabovo generated 121,900 MWh of electricity—enough to cover the monthly consumption of more than 480,000 average Bulgarian households.
