AES Bulgaria receives recognition for work safety and health

For the fifth consecutive year, AES Bulgaria has been recognized for the healthy and safe working conditions it provides to its employees.

AES Maritza East 1 Services was honored during the Annual National Safety and Health at Work Awards. The event was organized by the Foundation Centre for Safety and Health at Work with the support of the General Labor Inspectorate. AES Maritza East 1 Services was awarded first place in the “Large Enterprises – Group 1” category.

“This award is a national recognition of our systematic and consistent commitment to maintaining the highest standards for a safe and healthy work environment. It also honors the dedication, teamwork and shared responsibility of our entire team. I thank all our employees for always putting safety first,” said Ivan Tzankov, President of AES Bulgaria.

The goal of the national awards is to encourage innovative practices for creating a healthy work environment and preventing accidents at work.
