AES Bulgaria presented with prestigious award from BCCI

AES Bulgaria has received another prestigious award. At the end of 2023, the company was recognized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Top 100 competition. A bronze statuette of Hermes by sculptor Stavri Kalinov was given to AES Bulgaria in the category “Top 100 medium-sized enterprises ranked by sales revenue, profit and return on sales revenue, return on assets, and return on equity for the last financial year.” Irina Shtonova, Deputy Minister of Economy, presented the award for the company’s performance and results achieved during 203 to AES Bulgaria Managing Director Ivan Tzankov.

“It’s an honor for us to receive this award. AES Bulgaria is one of the largest foreign investors and a reliable partner of the state,” Ivan Tzankov said.

The awarded companies in the BCCI Top 100 were honored for their excellent work and the results achieved during the year. Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, Parliament Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov and BCCI President Tzvetan Simeonov attended the ceremony.
