AES Bulgaria Once Again Recognized for Safety and Health at Work

For the third consecutive year, AES Bulgaria has been recognized for keeping its employees in the workplace. AES Maritza East 1 Services was honored during the 14th Annual National Safety and Health at Work Awards, presented by the Center for Safety and Health at Work Foundation with the support of the General Labor Inspectorate

AES Maritza East 1 Services won second place in the category “Large companies – Group 1” (companies with over 250 employees) for the project “Improvement of safety measures in confined spaces at AES’ TPP in Galabovo.” The award was received by Radostina Yanakieva, Environment Health and Safety Manager at AES Bulgaria, and Nikolay Perchemliev, HSE expert.
